Welcome to the last 3 months of my life. Yeah, you read that right. In the last 3 months:
- I’ve proposed to my beautiful girlfriend, Sarah (now fiance, it’s still weird to say)
- I’ve sold my house and moved into a smaller one bedroom apartment
- I quit my job leading the mobile strategy for Cabela’s, a top retailer in the hunting, fishing campaign space to take my own business full time.
Although it sounds a bit stressful, the last 3 months have been the most fun, exciting, anticipated, loving, giving, rewarding and stress-free months in…well, as long as I can remember.
In spending the last year and a half building my own business through my blog and podcast, Mobile Mixed, I have found tons of clarity in my life that has led me to 3 of the biggest decisions I’ve ever made in my life.
Now before I dive into these 3 events I want to make it clear that I’ve followed through on these decisions making them a reality.
Decisions mean nothing without follow through. Tweet this.
“Follow-through” is an important phrase for me moving forward because I realized I wasn’t doing anything remotely close to following through on things that I’ve claimed I’ve wanted.
I was a lot of talk.
Now, Not all talk because I’ve hustled a lot and achieved a great deal in the last year and a half, but I’ve realized that I’m really good at getting 99% of the way there and then finding a reason to not give that last 1%.
It’s the last 1% that opens the door to welcome huge brekthroughs.
For me, that 1% has brought me to share with you the 3 most important, life-changing and clearest things I’ve ever done.
